Held in the heart of Mparntwe, this retreat begins with a 1.5 hour practice at The Shala โ€” a workshop-style practice that invites both movement and curiosity. Weโ€™ll start with a grounding vinyasa flow to build warmth and awareness, weaving in breath work to deepen your connection inward and preparing you for your afternoon at Fire and Ice. From there, the pace softens, guiding you into longer-held, restorative shapes where youโ€™ll have space to explore, adjust, and truly settle. This is not about getting it โ€œright,โ€ but about feeling your way through.

From the studio, your experience continues with up to 3.5 hours at Steveโ€™s Fire and Ice โ€” a unique, hand-built oasis created by long-time local, massage therapist, yoga teacher, and health guru, Steve. Youโ€™ll be welcomed with a nourishing home made juice shot, homemade treats, and a hydrating drink before being guided through the sauna, ice bath, and magnesium pool experience.

Steve will share his knowledge on how to use each element intentionally, offering simple, practical ways to support recovery, regulate your nervous system, and care for your body. As the afternoon unfolds, youโ€™ll relax into the space, grazing on a seasonal cheese board with ingredients grown right on the property.
